Mesut Oezil reportedly headed to Manchester United
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Oezil has reportedly told compatriot, who also plays for the Gunners, that he will leave to join Manchester United.
Mesut Oezil is reportedly planning to leave Arsenal and will join Man United in the January 2018 transfer window or when his contract expires at the end of this season.
29-year-old player was mentioned very confident his move to Man United deal will happen and he has told his teammate at the Gunners.
Previously, Oezil had been trained by Jose Mourinho, who is now a Man United tactician, while defending Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Relationships or relations between the two are believed to still work well.
Now, the German player is also likely to “reunite” with Mourinho when the transfer window reopens after Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger, hinted that he is ready to sell Oezil in the summer.
Arsene Wenger admitted that his team could sell Mesut Oezil in January 2018.
If it’s too late, the Gunners will lose the money on the sale of the star whose contract will expire in the summer of next year.
“Maybe when we get the situation, we consider every solution,” Wenger said.
